I've worn it pretty much daily although one would probably only wear it for an important occasion or in place of an engagement ring and I would say that although the stone sticks out a bit, it has yet to become damaged or scratched at all. And I'm not the most careful person or exactly mindful of the ring at every moment being a toddler mom.
