I give full marks for the design details! The white sapphires appear as plain white light from a distance, but upon closer inspection, you'll notice that the facets reflect a blend of pale blue and pale pink iridescence, like a display of aurora frozen around the neck. The back of the gold setting has also been treated with a matte finish, making it completely non-itchy when worn against the skin. I wear it every day now and don't need to do much maintenance at all.
